Good morning Vietnam

The plane leaves when? I didn't know they left in the middle of the night. No wonder real estate is cheap near the airport!

Singapore airlines flight SQ218 departs Melbourne at 00:50, hopefully with a very nervous me on board. A couple of hours in Singapore, then a mid-morning landing in Ho Chi Minh City.

So here I'll be. In Vietnam. By myself. Cool, hu?

Might go and check out the market...have a barter with some locals...take a photo or 200...grab some spring rolls from a street vendor, then back to the Hotel in time to meet with my room mate, Lynn, Lynn Hobbs (What a coincidence) for a few hello drinks before we meet the larger group for our 'welcome dinner'.
